And then man said, "Let there be computers!"

theEvilpc was spawned by an idea that computer knowledge should be disseminated to everyone.  All people should know general knowledge about computers so they can perform general maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshoot problems themselves.

TheEvilpc began, initially, as a personal blog that I wanted to use as a depository of all the computer information I came across.
I wanted to archive all of the methods I used to fix problems, programs I used for various tasks, system tweaks or configurations, overclocking info, gaming, hardware, the list can go on and on and on...  I thought we could be all about upgrading hardware, reviving dead pc's, retrofitting old cases, and making out-dated computers viable again with major upgrades.

Starting with some posts on basic PC Maintenance, Security, and Tweaks, theEvilpc blog took shape.  We aquired the donaim name and expanded on the blog with a website which remained vacant for a longtime... as I pondered its fate. An about page was created [as you can see] and a news blog was made to log updates made to theEvilpc as a whole.  But I decided to display feeds from a few top computer sites like Tom's Hardware and Bit-tech instead.  I added a forum to the website - thanks to the highly embeddable nabble forum.  I Used the forums for the same archival purposes as I do for the blog, but mainly for mirroring the work I do over at EPCGaming.com.  We hope to become a bridge for various communities and a beckon to wandering travelers.
